Summary: The dissertation aims to analyze the growth models published by first authors of the theory, that latter, was termed post-keynesian. These consider important keys of Keynes's General Theory, as well as implementing a
mathematical formality to strengthen his arguments. This paper presents the
main growth models of this framework; explaining the equations and the
mathematical instruments used by the authors, their main conclusions and how (these conclusions) innovates in the sequence of the publications over time. During the work, was considered two generations of models that lead to their feature to analyze economic growth. The work concluded that there was an increase in the complexity of mathematical instruments in the advanced
models. There was also progress over the years in the conclusions reached by
the authors, reinforcing the theoretical principles of the latter post-Keynesian theory.
